Lets build it from scratch. 

How is this currently done? I've been evaluating phing as a build candidate for trimming down operating systems, like m0n0dev.php from Askozia. Seems like it would be ideal for debian as well.

 Starting from 0.6.0, Voyage Linux is built by Debian Live. You can find
the subversion repository for Debian Live config in:
